There are a lot of people confused about what exactly is a computer virus. For many people the virus is any bad thing that happens on their computers. This would more or less right about 1995, but since then another threat has emerged and using blanket terms like ‘virus’ to all of them are misleading. Therefore, I do not mean any disrespect to the ‘virus’ word. After all, it is the ancestor of all malicious software (or malware for short).
Old School Virus
initially the virus is rather simple-minded, even dangerous at times. All they want is to enter your computer and destroy some data. Their favorite way of
transmission to attach itself to other malicious programs.
Worms
As a “state of the art” developed a virus, a new generation coming onto the scene: a worm. Interesting name used to describe the type of virus that not only infects the host machine, but it also replicates itself over a network. In practice that means that the worms are well written can create a real mess all over the world within days. It is estimated that the damage from several well-known worms reach billions of dollars.
Trojan Horses
many programs, multimedia or other items can be found on the Internet. Often they are free and, let’s face it; there are very few things more than people like free stuff. The problem with some free software is that it also comes with one or more viruses are included free. Hence the name “Trojan Horse”.
Is that a good virus to my computer?
Of course! If you want to get rid of all the data clogging your hard drive, a virus is a beautiful solution. If you want your computer to slow to crawl a new hit, then the virus is the way to go. If you’re lucky, you can even get a worm that will not only help you clean your computer of all files are annoying, but it will also send a copy of itself to all your friends are found in your Outlook address book. In short, if you think that your computer is too fast and giving too little trouble, a virus or two can really help!
Fortunately, you do not have to try too hard to get a virus. Simply connect an unprotected computer to the Internet for a few hours and let them come. That’s all it takes.
Tips on How to protect you
Is imformasi computer technology is important to us? good question. Basically, the computer information technology (commonly referred to as “IT” in the technology industry and business world) is a term used to describe the design, manufacture, and maintenance of complex computer systems and computer networks. Many companies and professionals use the term to also include the various technologies surrounding the computer system itself as well.
For example, computer information technology is often used to describe:
* Computer hardware
* Servers
* Computer networks and network equipment
* Computer monitors
* Software and operating systems
* Printer
* Copy machine
* Fax machine
Office phone system *
* Internet system
* Phone
* Additional equipment Many types of technology and data management
TI also represent how all these systems are used and how they are related to each other at the same time.
In the Workplace: IT Department
While not always the rule, more often than not these days, business IT departments typically will manage all office technology needs, including everything from procurement of computer equipment and technology for the installation and maintenance of the system. In the modern work environment-centered data that we have come to expect today, ensuring computer information technology backbone to operate effectively and efficiently has become absolutely mandatory for running a successful business or operation of the workplace.
Is the Computer Information Technology So Important?
IT has become the lifeblood of how business is done. Because the world we continue to adapt more and more toward community-based information, manage the flow and storage of data and make access to more data and more reliable and easy to use not only important from the standpoint of their own advantage-we actually come to really completely dependent on technology 100% to make business possible.
In this type of environment, ensuring that each “piece of cake” and do little to operate properly is important. Think of it like setting up a chain of dominoes, if one part of the organization’s technology systems go down, it certainly will have a whole chain of cause and effect throughout the organization.
Information technology is very important because it requires thoughtful and knowledgeable planning and development to create advanced systems that work seamlessly with one another to produce the final outcome of functions that we rely on transparent. It’s almost like one of those things that we just used to getting us come to expect it to work perfectly all the time, only to notice when something goes wrong.
